Gipp Recreation Park & Ballfields
The George Gipp Recreation Park is a long-loved
community sports area that includes multiple
baseball/softball fields along with courts for
basketball and tennis, a playground, sand volleyball,
horseshoe pits, bocce ball, and open space for pickup
games. It serves youth and adult athletes in the warmer
months and sits adjacent to the George Gipp Arena, where
winter sports take place.
This area provides great
space for organized leagues, practices, and casual
family play.
Paul Lehto Baseball Diamond
Formerly known as Wolverine Ball Field, this ballfield was renamed the Paul Lehto Baseball Diamond in honor of a local leader and supporter of youth sports. It remains an important home for community baseball and softball activities. Recent township planning has included efforts to upgrade dugouts, fencing, and other field infrastructure to improve the experience for players and spectators alike.
